Growing so quickly!

Gaines now has 2 teeth.  I was beginning to think he was going to start kindergarten without a single one!  They are such cute little teeth!  He is pulling up on EVERYTHING and cruising around like crazy.  He love sesame street (especially Murray), bubble guppies, and eating!  He pretty much eats everything now.  At his 9 month dr. visit, he weighed 21.8 and was 27 1/2 inches long.  He is a big boy!  He is in a constant state of motion until he just runs out of gas and has to sleep!  He has also started to be very opinionated :).  We are starting to see a little temper shine through!  He loves all his family and people in general.  He loves to be in the dance studio with all the older girls, and he loves the music.  He has started "dancing" when he hears music, and it is so cute.  In the past couple of weeks, we have been to the zoo, trunk or treat, and the pumpkin patch.  It takes him a while to warm up to things like that.  He always looks really confused for a while, then gets into it.  He is wearing a 12 month in most things - 18 month in some things.  He LOVES the little boy in the mirror and can amuse himself for a long time "talking" to him.  He will NOT say mama.  He jabbers a lot and says "dada" ALL THE TIME!  It's getting rather annoying!  He has the sweetest smile, and his daddy and I will do just about anything to see it!

Big Nine Month Old!

How does a month go by so quickly!  Gaines is so big and does something new every day!  He is pulling up and cruising around.  He is not scared of anything.  He has tons of toys, but of course, he wants to climb up on the concrete hearth or eat the cat food.  He still does not have any teeth, but it hasn't stopped him from eating everything!  He will no longer eat baby food at all.  He just closes his mouth and cries!  So, we have found several things that he can eat- noodles, cottage cheese, diced peaches, pudding, and cheese puffs.  He still loves to eat, but is not as interested in his bottle.  He is into EVERYTHING!

He's changed so much!  I love watching him discover things and grow.  But, I sure do miss that little lump of one that would let me just hold him all day!
