Guess who's 3 months old

Lil man is 3 months old as of 4:48. Wow! He is just the sweetest thing. He has the funniest expressions and really seems to know who we are and what we are saying. He has discovered his feet and his hands and thinks they are great. He sleeps all night and has had his first cold :(. He is very easy going and really only cries when he is hungry. He has the sweetest smile and squeals all the time. Life is better than it's ever been!

Stan had his surgery today, and it went fine.

Gaines had a doctors appointment today too. He weighs 13 pounds, 13 ounces. Wow! He's 25 1/2 inches long. He's like his mama- growing out and not up! Little butterball!

A lot going on

We had our 3 month post placement home study today. It was with the same lady who did our 3 pre-placement sessions, and we were thrilled to see her! Everything went fine, and she thought Gaines was pretty cute (of course)!

Tomorrow Stan is going to have his esophagus stretched. He has been having some issues with food getting stuck. Not a big deal but he will be put to sleep. Please say a prayer!

Mimi is so funny!

Happy boy

Gaines has been laughing and smiling like crazy lately. It's the greatest thing in the world.

Spring break is coming to an end, and I am sad about leaving him all over again! He loves his Mimi, though, and I know he's in good hands! I just don't want to miss anything!!

11 weeks old

Well, our big boy is 11 weeks old today. He seems to change every day. He is happy most of the time. He smiles and laughs a lot. He is sleeping "mostly" through the night. He's just such a sweet blessing!

Back to work

I went back to work Monday, and I was so sad all weekend thinking about leaving him. I have to say, though, it was really good to get back and see everyone! And next week is spring break, so I will be off all week. :) I have definitely missed my little man, and it is hard to leave him every day. He's staying with mama, so I know he's in good hands.
