Gaines is doing great! He is such a sweet, happy baby. He loves all the pretty girls at dancing and loves jumping in his jumper. He is teething like crazy and has a constant stream of drool. He is a good sleeper and so happy in the morning. He makes getting up so much easier. Stan and I just have the best time with him. I don't know what we did without him! Being his mother is the greatest blessing of my life! I thank God every day for this gift.

Big boy now weighs 15 pounds 4 ounces. He is in a size 2 diaper now. He rolled from front to back Monday night but hasn't done it since. He's getting so big!

He has found his hands and loves to look at them.

Easter and lots more

Gaines enjoyed his first Easter. Actually, he didn't care at all, but we enjoyed it.

The Easter bunny came!

Snuggling with Aunt Pam

It would have been a perfect day if this bunch had been here! I missed them (Stephen too!)

Baptism

Gaines was baptized Sunday! It was a wonderful, emotional day. It was surreal holding OUR son while he was baptized. I was moved to tears several times realizing all that this meant to us and would mean to him. What a blessing he is to us, and we pray that he will love his church family as much as we do. It was a great service. I had asked Janey Beth to sing Jesus Loves Me and Mr. Phil played the guitar. It was beautiful and another teary moment. Ashley and the children were all there for it, and all our friends and family. When we got up to go to the front, Jack got up and went too. It was so sweet. It was special, because Jack is my 1st baby, and he was right there being the sweet big cousin. After church, we had a great lunch out at the patio. Mama and Mary Glenda outdid themselves with yummy food. Gail and Norton had worked like crazy getting the patio perfect. Lauren made sure the tables and decorations looked perfect. Daddy, Jerry, and Stan did a LOT of carrying. With a support team like that, I just got to enjoy the day! It is one we will remember for a long time. Just another reminder of how truly blessed we are. We are so thankful for wonderful friends and family. They have been with us through every step of this process. It felt great looking out and seeing them all there for Gaines.

This is just funny to me!

Zack is such a great babysitter.

Stan says this is child abuse, but it's so cute!

What a crew!

A little blurry but love his expression.
